Enrollment completes on a ZBook Ultra G3a 16-inch with the phantom port disabled
Fingerprint enrollment on the HP ZBook Ultra G3a never asked for a touch, because a phantom USB port stalled the hub. A rule merged into quattro disables that port only when its connect_type is not used, and on a 16-inch enrollment and verification complete.
On the HP ZBook Ultra G3a, fingerprint enrollment installs the drivers and then never asks for a touch. fprintd-enroll fails because a phantom USB port stalls the hub, and the fingerprint reader sits on that hub.
Each time the hub resumes, the kernel spends 30–45s retrying the phantom device on port 5. A udev rule disables that port only on an HP ZBook Ultra G3a, and only when the port's connect_type is not used. A migration re-triggers the root hubs, so an existing install gets the rule without a reboot.
