An unofficial Omarchy phone port shows a touch interface
Sebastian Stange said his unofficial Omarchy mobile port has a new touch interface, day and night themes, and offline Whisper dictation, in this post. He called it an early prototype.
Stange said it runs natively on ARM64 with a custom kernel, and that plenty is left to test. In an earlier post he said local speech recognition on the phone uses whisper.cpp, with no cloud, on 4x Cortex-A53 at 1.5 GHz, and that an 11 s clip transcribes in ~9 s with the tiny model. He said the voice never leaves the phone.
He said the front camera is working, then that the rear camera is working. He also greeted the modem, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and two cameras in another post.
He said in a later post that the port can chat encrypted via Matrix, and that it is native ARM Omarchy, not Android.
