Kernel migration skips a machine without Limine tooling
A change merged into quattro skips the kernel migration when limine-mkinitcpio is absent, so a machine on another boot loader is not left blocking later migrations.
The migration assumed the Limine command was available. A machine upgraded from an older release can still boot with GRUB or systemd-boot, so the migration installs the kernel, edits Limine configuration, and then stops at a missing command. Because it remains pending, it also blocks later migrations.
The change checks for the command before it changes packages or boot configuration. If the command is absent, the migration explains the skip and leaves the existing kernel and boot setup untouched. A machine that still has the command installed while booting another loader is not identified by this guard.
