Joshua Warren said the Neural Engine on his M6 Mac mini on Omarchy is powered on and its control processor answers. He said the first MLX operation failed on one GPU helper missing from the driver.
This is day 7 on that Mac mini. MLX, on his account, sees the M6 GPU and 15.6 GB of memory. He said the fix is building, and that inference will be running on the machine by morning.
