M6 Mac mini uses its GPU under Omarchy
Joshua Warren said Omarchy on the M6 Mac mini uses the GPU, and that almost all the drivers are done. Miguel Cruz said Open GL 4.6 and Vulkan 1.4 conformance is in the works.
Software rendering draws the screen with the processor. Warren said the screenshot people had noticed used that.
Warren said he will start on the Apple Neural Engine bring-up soon. In a later post he said Cruz has led the way on the M6 bring-up.
Cruz wrote, "I put in a good deal of time getting the CTS tests to past over the last month."
