Apple hardware paths are in the main Omarchy repository
Pull request 14431 merges shared Apple hardware and desktop paths into Omarchy. Mac boot stays in the Mac packages, and x86 keeps the same default packages. The merge is not in version 4.0.4.
The merged detector treats Apple Silicon as its own platform. Snapdragon laptops count as ordinary 64-bit ARM machines. ARM package defaults offer the edge channel only. Other machines keep the boot path they already had.
Batteries, lids, and touchpads are recognized from the system's own device information. The bar reserves space for a camera cutout only on a matching screen. A system built on another machine, which is how the Asahi installer prepares a Mac, names its platform and waits until first boot on that machine to set up hardware and the package keyring.
omarchybot opened the pull request, and ryanrhughes merged it. The pull request says it carries the commits from pull request 13362 by maralcbr. It leaves keyboard lighting in draft 14557, keeping the focused workspace in front when a monitor goes away in draft 14518, and letting the login and root passwords follow the disk password in draft 14556. Those drafts were still open, on the branch omabot/pr-13362.
