Joshua Warren, of the M team, said Thunderbolt networking on Omarchy received at a third of its send speed, and that his fix moved receive speed from 6.3 to 16.6 Gb/s.
He said he found the bug in Linux's Thunderbolt network driver while splitting AI models across Macs.
Warren said the Omarchy M kernel would get the fix first, and that he would then send it upstream for every Linux distribution. The speeds are his measurements.
