Omarchy merges a T2 package name for the Wi-Fi firmware fetcher
T2 Mac installs were still asking for a firmware package the mirrors had stopped serving. Pull request 13963 names apple-bcm-firmware-fetcher in the T2 package list, and it merged into quattro.
The pull request says arch-mact2 replaced apple-bcm-firmware with apple-bcm-firmware-fetcher on Sept. 26, and that the fetcher conflicts with the old name. An install that still requested apple-bcm-firmware failed with “target not found”.
The merged package list and the T2 setup script both name the fetcher. The script says the fetcher reads Wi-Fi firmware from a macOS volume that is still on disk. A single-boot install that erased macOS has no volume to read, so those machines need a macOS copy or a downloaded recovery image.
