First boot draws a traced icon instead of a 34-cell bar
First boot on v4-5-0 draws a traced icon instead of the old 34-cell bar, and the grey half under the green tip stays visible. It was not run on a real first boot, nor DjDeveloperr's change on a real console or a real first boot.
On quattro the grey half under the green tip goes black, and with sun12x22, which first boot can pick, scale 1 lost the icon's right edge.
The traced icon
- Font: the console's real font size is read. It had been falling back to 8×16.
- Tip: the grey half under the green tip stays visible on a Linux console.
- Width: sun12x22 and other fonts that are not 2:1 draw the whole icon with even strokes.
- Frames: a frame starts no processes. It had been starting about 200 a second while setup worked the disk.
The font read was checked against the kernel's size limit, not on the hardware. The v4-5-0 merge was not run on a real first boot either.
