Extend and Mirror switch the monitor layout
The monitor panel switches between extended and mirrored displays. A change merged into quattro puts Extend and Mirror on the right of the layout header, the current mode bold in the accent.

The layout switch merged into quattro. Extend could not undo a mirror from that file.
Mirrored displays stack in the layout map, the external display a card behind the built-in one, labelled eDP-1 + DP-1. The display picker marks the shown display with an accent icon. Switching between mirrored and extended sends no notification, and error notifications stay. David Heinemeier Hansson checked both states on an XPS 13 with an external display.
