A panel-disabled laptop display is enabled when no external display is connected
A change merged into quattro enables a laptop display that was turned off in the Display panel when no external display is physically connected. The pull request says this was not run on an Omarchy install.
Turning the laptop display off from the bar's Display panel writes no toggle flag. When the external display is unplugged, recovery has nothing to clear, and the enable command names mode, position, and scale but not disabled. The disabled state stays, and the laptop stays black until a reload.
The change sets disabled to false only while no external display is physically connected. A panel-disabled display with an external display still connected does not get that enable. On its own, enabling the display on every pass would undo the panel's choice, because a docked laptop runs the check every two seconds.
The pull request says the change was not run on an Omarchy install. A test expects the enable command for a panel-disabled display with nothing external connected, and no such enable while an external display is connected.
