Try Omarchy version 0.6.0 comes with Japanese input
Eduardo Martinez said Try Omarchy version 0.6.0 is released, with JIS and Japanese input through Mozc, the line “Koren input support,” and a disk manager for its virtual machines.
Martinez said the disk manager can move a disk to another directory, change which disk boots, and delete disks. He also listed a better migration system for updating old disks, and “Fixes.”
A second post is a demo of Japanese and English typing in Try Omarchy. Martinez said he has that setup on macOS, and that he can now have it on Omarchy too.
Asked when a native install would reach M4 and M5 Pro and Max Macs, Martinez said Try Omarchy works on all Apple Silicon today. He said a native installation on M4 will take a couple of weeks, with M5 following.
He said he decided to ask Claude to create the demo video. He said: “It's not amazing but it passes the message properly!”
