Desktop look switches move under Appearance in the merged menu
Pull request 14973 merges an Appearance menu under Trigger for how the desktop looks, and leaves Toggle for on-and-off behaviors. Pull request 14982 moves the menu bar's own entries there. The merges are not in version 4.0.4.
Appearance holds the menu bar, the battery percentage, the workspace layout, window gaps, animations, and the one-window ratio. Toggle keeps stay awake, notifications, crash capture, the screensaver, Herdr theme sync, and night light. Super+Ctrl+O still opens Toggle. The moved entries use new ids. David Heinemeier Hansson wrote that nothing in the repository routed to the old ones.
Pull request 14982 says "Trigger > Appearance > Menu Bar was a bare toggle, while the bar's other settings sat under Style > Menu Bar." Pull request 14982 puts them together: Hide Bar or Show Bar, and Position Bar with top, bottom, left, and right. Style's menu bar submenu is gone. A later merge the same day, pull request 14991, sets the bar background to opaque, glassy, or clear. Hansson opened and merged both menu changes.
