OBS Studio and Kdenlive are out of the merged list for new installs
Pull request 14962 merges a base package list that leaves out OBS Studio and Kdenlive for new installs. Existing installs keep both. The merge is not in version 4.0.4.
David Heinemeier Hansson wrote that Monologue, for recording from a webcam, and Omacut, for trimming video, cover what most people used those two programs for. The first-boot tip names Pinta for images, Omacut for video, and LibreOffice for documents. The manual's welcome page names Hype and Monologue, and the applications chapter drops the OBS Studio and Kdenlive sections.
There is no migration, so a machine that already has either program keeps it. Restoring the preinstalled set will not put them back, and removing that set will not uninstall them. The pull request says OBS Studio remains in the Omarchy package repository. Hansson opened and merged the change.
