Gliff is in the merged base package set, and the bar lights for a remote session
Pull request 14712 merges gliff, a Hyprland remote desktop over SSH, into the base package set, with a migration for existing installs. The merged bar lights while a gliff session is active. The merge is not in version 4.0.4.
The indicator sits in the tray and uses the urgent color while gliff-server is running. Its tooltip names the address of the SSH client. It reports status only: there is no click and no notification. David Heinemeier Hansson opened and merged the change. The pull request says the package in the Omarchy repository was gliff 0.2.0.
The pull request says a gliff-server that is only waiting for a connection still counts as a session, because the check looks for the process. It says that waiting mode is for development, and that over SSH the server is there only while a client is attached. Hansson wrote that he tried a local server and client, and that six shell-test failures also happen on quattro without this change.
