Dictation hold bindings in this merge still run the release when other keys are used
Pull request 14645 merges hold bindings so the release half of a dictation hold still runs when other keys or a click happen during the hold. F9 and Right Alt use that hold. The merge is not in version 4.0.4.
The pull request says Hyprland drops a release binding in two cases: when another key or a mouse button is released while the dictation key is held, and when the modifiers at release differ from the press. The recording then kept going after the key came up. The merged helper marks the release so Hyprland does not drop it, and it ignores a modifier change. A release runs only after its own press.
nchudleigh opened the pull request, and ryanrhughes merged it. nchudleigh wrote in the pull request that a test on Hyprland 0.56.2, with a virtual keyboard, showed F9 and Right Alt starting and stopping for a plain hold and for a hold with letters or Shift. Reloading the config while the key is held leaves that one release with nothing to do. Shift+F9 and Ctrl+F9 still reach the application and do not start dictation.
