Omarchy merges a menu for how long passwordless sudo lasts
Pull request 14435 merges a menu that asks how long passwordless sudo should stay on, and a red bar icon while that access is active.
The choices in the merged command are “15 minutes,” “1 Hour,” “1 Day,” and “Permanently.” Running the command again turns active access off. Permanent access always asks for confirmation, and it survives a reboot until someone turns it off.
The pull request places a red icon in the bar, before Dictation in the default order, while access is on. Clicking that icon turns access off in the background, without opening a terminal. The pull request says the icon reads sudo policy and does not prompt for a password.
David Heinemeier Hansson opened and merged the change. Enabling access still asks for the sudo password once.
