Omarchy merges overlay recovery when a monitor disconnects
Pull request 14458 merges a change to the desktop shell so menus and pickers can reopen after their monitor disconnects, without keeping a parked overlay surface.
The pull request says the small overlay surfaces from an earlier change can be lost when their monitor disconnects. It says that loss stops menus and pickers from opening again. Closed overlays are unmapped, and a new opening frame stays transparent until the shell has the monitor's scale and fullscreen size.
If a menu is open when its screen disappears, the change places it on a screen that is still connected, after the old window is torn down. When the target screen changes, the menu resets a frozen position and a row-height limit so a search or a submenu can stay on a shorter display.
David Heinemeier Hansson opened and merged the change. The pull request says focused shell tests passed, and that the virtual-machine acceptance suite, including the new monitor-removal cases, was not run.
