Omarchy merges silent background intros at login and on a theme change
Pull request 9639 merges 71 silent video intros that play at login and when the theme changes, then return to the still background. In the merged change, turning animations off disables them.
The pull request pairs a still background with a matching silent clip, such as a road image with a road video. It says a custom image can look for an intros folder next to the image. Nested videos stay out of the background picker.
A theme change fades the outgoing wallpaper into the moving video over 420 milliseconds, while the new colors are applied to the bar. A new login keeps the screen black until the video is moving and the bar has loaded, then fades both in together over the same interval.
The pull request says the Animations toggle disables the intros, and that an update migration stages the active theme without playing a video. yamz8 opened the pull request, and David Heinemeier Hansson merged it.
