An M team member reports a new Try Omarchy version
A member of the M team said a new Try Omarchy version was released, with a configurable maximum disk size and GPU acceleration in the browser and Alacritty. A demo calls it version 0.5.0.
In a reply written in Portuguese, Eduardo Martinez said an existing copy can be updated, and that it will not have the latest version of Omarchy, “4.0.4 vs 4.0.3”.
He said the release is more stable, uses less memory and CPU, and installs Ghostty and 1Password.
In another reply, he said the launcher fetches updates on its own, and that a new disk image can be downloaded and dragged in. He said the virtual machine “updates basically everything except the kernel”.
