Word, Excel, and PowerPoint install as their own web apps
Omarchy can install Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as separate web apps, next to Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive. Pull request 14271 and 10367 merged into quattro.
The Office hub was opening Copilot, and choosing an app from it opened another browser tab. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint now use their own home pages. Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive stay in the set.
Install, then Service, then Microsoft adds the Outlook bundle. Remove, then Services, then Microsoft takes out whichever of those launchers are present. The apps are browser windows. The separate Teams for Linux client is not installed.
David Heinemeier Hansson said the menu in the next version will read Install, then Service, then Microsoft 365, in this post. He opened and merged both pull requests.
