The login screen uses the system keyboard layout
Omarchy's login screen was stuck on a US keyboard, so a password typed on a French layout never matched. Pull request 6896 merged into quattro.
The greeter starts its own Hyprland instance and had no input block, so it used Hyprland's built-in us layout. On a French AZERTY machine the password field was QWERTY.
The greeter now reads the layout and variant from /etc/vconsole.conf, the same source the session uses. For a non-Latin layout it puts us first, so the screen stays typeable.
Checked on Omarchy version 4.0.0 with a French layout, the greeter is AZERTY with the change. The GitHub user g-desoutter opened pull request 6896, and David Heinemeier Hansson merged it.
